If you walk into our Fredericksburg store on the first Saturday of the month, you'll notice something a little different: extra chairs, a table of wine glasses, and a reason to stay longer than you planned.

That's Saturday Rotations. And the first Saturday of every month, it means the wine tasting — featuring wine from Fiesta Winery and Arch Ray.

What is Saturday Rotations and who can attend?

Saturday Rotations is our monthly rhythm at the Fredericksburg store — a different kind of gathering each Saturday, repeating month after month. Anyone can attend. You don't need to be a customer, you don't need an appointment, and you don't need to know anything about Intelligent Threads walking in. Some of the people who show up are regulars. Some are just walking by and get curious.

The first Saturday belongs to the wine tasting.

Two doors down the sidewalk

Fiesta Winery is two doors down from us on the sidewalk — close enough to walk it in a minute. Fiesta Winery is owned by Arch Ray, whose own winery sits out east of town off Highway 290. That closeness is what made this partnership easy: our storefront does tension release, theirs does something people already associate with slowing down and being present. It felt like an obvious pairing to explore together.

It's the same demonstration we run any other day in the store, just poured alongside a glass of wine instead of handed to you across the counter. You don't need to know how it works going in — come unwind, taste something good, and see what you notice.

A wellness brand and a winery two doors down can build something together that neither could on its own. Underneath that, though, is the simpler reason: people walk in carrying real tension, real pain, and they leave having found something that actually helped. That's what keeps us doing this, Saturday after Saturday.

That's the whole idea behind Saturday Rotations. The first Saturday is the wine tasting, with Fiesta Winery and Arch Ray. The second is a spin of a wheel from our grand opening that never left. The third is Media Day, where anyone with a good demo story can sit down, tell it on camera, and walk out with a free patch for their trouble. Once a quarter, Brian shows up himself for "Meet the Inventor." Different Saturdays, same underlying idea: the store is a place people come back to, not just a place people buy from.

If you're in Fredericksburg on a first Saturday, come find us. You don't need a reason beyond curiosity.
